Since we're Vanilla Veteran Vandals I thought it a good idea to get the latest expansion (WoD).
I never did Panda-land so I shall rush through there and hopefully some of you mad cows join in for some questing/dungeoning/campfire storytelling. :-)

How's it going?
I went back to it a few months ago and while it was nice to see all the old Chars again I found it a bit of a slog.

Well, I actually quite liked the panda-setting but my phenomenal quest completion ratio has levelled me past Pandaria in one session ... So I've only done one area of it. I jamp in WoD straightaway and that too was good fun, you get to build your own stronghold and there are a lot of small little changes that make life easier.
Basically it is more of the same old, but they have definitely gone back to the core, which for me has many good memories. It looks a tad dated but orc peons just have to say 'lokthar' to make me forget that and it looks a lot more streamlined than it used to, the new area's are nicely designed and my cow still looks the sexy beast that it is ! ;-)

I'll reply here as I have nothing to do at work.
Queues were heavy at release and through the first week, since then they have optimized the population codes and what not, increasing the server capacity to the double.
Now Frostmane has no queue's to my knowledge and I get online prime time every evening.

The game has been polished and looks way better than before, the new zones are in terms of wow, beautifully crafted. Animations are as slick as always. Every class has been "easy-fied" spells/abilities has been stripped/clogged with others to make the gameplay more fun and less wondering what to press.

The biggest complain I can make is that the Horde is outnumbered 10:1 in alliance favor. And that's not screwing with numbers.. I actually have thought about to xfer my druid to another realm.
