Nice little headline: Latvia auctions off military ghost town for $3m
Not a bad price, wonder what the hell they intend to do with it though. Still plenty of these sorts of towns around, actually a couple near where we live here formerly used by Canadian and US forces during the Cold War, though close enough to normal settlements to prevent them turning into ghost towns when the military pulled out.
