How To Mark + Execute.
Made this, might use it in a review:

0 Seconds : You can see two possible paths. (Stairs on the left, elevator shaft on the right.) As well as the current objective displayed on the wall where the player won't miss it. 6 Seconds : I check my inventory for Flashbangs as I creep up on the unaware guard and kill him. (Killing him with a melee attack has earned me the Mark + Execute ability.) 14 Seconds : I notice that one of the guards has decided to go check on his (now dead) buddy so I retreat into the shadows. Notice how my screen renders everything (except enemies) in black and white. This is the games' way of telling me I'm completely hidden. 34 Seconds : I activate my goggles and check to see how many enemies are in the area. 40 Seconds : I get to a position where I can see everyone and begin marking them with my Q key. (A red V indicates who has been marked.) My current pistol allows me to Mark 4 enemies.. but there's 5 so I have to act fast whilst one is away from the others. 47 Seconds : I hit my Execute key. 49 Seconds : 4 targets taken down. 1 to go. 51 Seconds : An on-screen prompt tells me that I've been awarded 500 Points for "Mark Mastery". These 500 points can be spent on weapon upgrades. (Silencers, Reflex Sights, etc.) 1 Minute : I activate my goggles again and find the stray guard. Once found I wait for him to turn his back on me. 1:06 : I creep up on him and take him down. Turns out the Flashbangs weren't needed. |
