Since I may not get chance tomorrow or the day after, I wanted to wish you all ahead of time a very Merry Christmas from Germany.
Got the not-particularly-extended family here for Christmas this year (i.e. just the girlfriend's parents) but there'll be much a feasting done just the same. I'm laying down the law and having some British customs on the 25th, roast goose, mince pies, Christmas pudding, and some piping hot bishop to wash it all down with. And all that after the typically German festivities on the 24th. Can you hear the scales creaking?
