Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty

Last week Blizzard held their annual BlizzCon (Blizzard Convention) for fans of their games. At the show they revealed some Starcraft 2 mods they were working on.

"Left 2 Die" (a Left 4 Dead mock-up)
"StarJeweled" (a Bejeweled mock-up)
"Aiur Chef" (an Iron Chef mock-up)

and finally....

"Blizzard DOTA"... obviously based of Valve's recently acquired DOTA... which was originally based off a Warcraft 3 mod... which is owned by Blizzard.

Valve however, were one step ahead and sent in a spy to gather intel. That spy... was Gabe Newell.

Mr. Newell is a very easy character to spot.



Here he is, playing... well, I don't quite know but the screens around it look like a character selection screen. So it's probably a Cataclysm demo unit and Mr. Newell is playing with a Goblin.
